Crafted from fine-pored, impregnated foam plastic, the CC Expanding Sealer boasts an initial thickness of 30 mm, compressed to 2 mm for ease of application. Once installed, it expands to its full thickness, providing optimal insulation and durability. Notably, it is environmentally friendly and free from harmful isocyanates.

Simple and fast installation

Cut the strip to the desired length.
Insert it into the gap between the frame and the side piece.
If the window or door isn’t yet installed, use a needle gun (no staples) to secure the strip.
At room temperature (21-22°C), the CC Expanding Sealer expands to its full thickness within 1-3 hours; expansion may be slightly slower at lower temperatures.

Protective Measures & Longevity

Technical information:

For optimal performance, CC Expanding Sealer should be protected from direct moisture and UV light, using wooden moldings, metal cover strips, or a sealant. On the interior side, it should be sealed with a diffusion-tight sealant or SITAC-approved tape. If exposed to moisture, the material remains mold-resistant and does not degrade over time.
